When I study music I get excited to find out that Artist X sounds like Y because of Z. XX sounds mellow and pleasing but still *almost* discordant because of a lot of Locrian mode usage.  The song “Night Time” appears to be A-flat Locrian (for bass) which happens to be a shape that I already know.  Weee!
